Use RINOMAX® BRONHO in the following cases: - respiratory diseases accompanied by impaired expectoration of sputum (including bronchitis, tracheitis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, bronchiectatic disease, cystic fibrosis, lung abscess, pulmonary emphysema, laryngotracheitis, interstitial lung diseases, atelectasis of the lung / due to bronchial obstruction by mucous plug); - catarrhal and purulent otitis media, sinusitis, including. including maxillary sinusitis (to facilitate secretion); - to remove viscous secretion from the respiratory tract in post-traumatic and postoperative conditions. - as an antidote for paracetamol overdose.Method of administration and dosage
The drug is taken in the form of a solution for ingestion, after meals. To do this, the contents of the sachet are dissolved in a glass of warm water and taken after meals. In the absence of other prescriptions, it is recommended to adhere to the following dosages: Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age are prescribed the drug 200 mg 2-3 times / day. Children aged 6 to 14 years are recommended to take 100 mg (1/2 sachet) 3 times/day or 200 mg (1 sachet) 2 times/day, children aged 2 to 6 years - 100 mg (1/2 sachet) 2 times/day, children aged 1 to 2 years - 100 mg (1/2 sachet) 2 times/day. In newborn children the drug is used only for vital indications at a dose of 10 mg/kg of body weight under strict control of a doctor. Before use the required amount of powder is dissolved in 1/3 cup of water. Children of the first year of life are given to drink the resulting solution from a spoon or feeding bottle. The duration of the course of treatment is established individually. In acute colds, the duration of reception is 5-7 days. With chronic bronchitis and cystic fibrosis, the drug should be used for a longer period of time to prevent infections. In cystic fibrosis in children aged over 6 years the drug is administered at 200 mg (1 sachet) 3 times/day, in children aged from 2 to 6 years - at 100 mg (1/2 sachet) 4 times/day. Patients with body weight more than 30 kg with cystic fibrosis, if necessary, the dose can be increased to 800 mg/day (4 sachets). Additional fluid intake enhances the mucolytic effect of the drug.
