- Prevention of goiter and iodine deficiency in people living in areas with iodine deficiency, primarily in children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women.

- Prevention of goiter recurrence at the end of the course of medical or surgical therapy due to iodine deficiency.

- Preparation for surgery in severe forms of thyrotoxicosis.

- treatment of goiter caused by iodine deficiency in newborns, children and adolescents.

- Treatment of diffuse nontoxic (euthyroid) goiter.

How to use and dosage

Tablets for oral administration. The daily dose of the drug should be taken in one sitting, after a meal and wash down with a sufficient amount of liquid, for example, a glass of water. Infants and children under 3 years of age can be given the drug in crushed form. The use of the drug for prophylactic purposes is carried out, as a rule, for several months or years, and more often - for life. For the treatment of goiter in newborns and infants in most cases, 2-4 weeks is sufficient, in children and adults - 6-12 months or more. The question of dosage and duration of use of the drug for preventive measures or for the treatment of thyroid diseases is decided by the doctor on an individual basis.
