Indications
To reduce swelling of the mucous membrane of the nose, nasopharynx and maxillary sinuses in:
- colds (acute rhinitis);
- inflammation of the sinuses (acute sinusitis);
- eustachyitis;
- allergic rhinitis (including hay fever);
- otitis media (as a means of adjuvant therapy, because it reduces swelling of the mucosa around the opening of the eustachian tube).
Used also to facilitate examination or surgical manipulation in the nasal cavity.
How to use and dosage
Nasal spray.
Apply intranasally.
Children aged from 2 to 6 years should be administered 1 injection into each nasal passage 2 times a day. The interval between applications 10-12 hours should be observed. The drug should not be applied more than 2 times a day. It is recommended to make the last application just before going to bed.
Duration of treatment: it is not recommended to use the drug for more than 3-5 days.
If symptoms worsen or improvement does not occur within 3 days, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
The maximum allowed duration of therapy is 5 days. The drug can be reapplied only after several days. Immediately before applying the drug, the vial should be held in the palm of the hand to warm it to body temperature. Before administering the drug, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the nose. Before the first application of the nasal spray, it is necessary to carry out its "calibration" by pressing the head of the atomizer several times. In order to properly make the injection, you should hold the atomizer vertically, so that the nozzle is directed upward. Then remove the transparent safety cap, place the nozzle in the nasal passage, quickly press the atomizer once sharply and pull it out of the nasal passage without unclamping the atomizer. During the injection, inhale a little air through the nose, which facilitates optimal injection of the solution
