How to use and dosage
Information on proper use
Fexofenadine is taken orally with water, regardless of food intake.
For the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and hay fever (pollinosis), the recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 120 mg once daily.
For the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children over 12 years of age, the recommended single daily dose of Fexofenadine180 mg.
There is no need in dose adjustment of Fexofenadine in elderly patients, as well as in patients with impaired hepatic and renal function.
To eliminate symptoms of allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria in children aged from 6 to 11 years inclusive, the recommended dose of Fexofenadine is 30 mg 1-2 times a day.
In children with impaired renal function as an initial dose it is recommended to administer 30 mg once daily.
